Personal statement

As Head of Finance Services, I lead the University's Student Funding, Student Finance, Accounts Receivable and Cash Operations functions, measuring the effective delivery of financial services to students, sponsors, external customers and colleagues across the institution. I am responsible for overseeing tuition fee setting and invoicing, student funding schemes, debt management, cash operations, financial controls, regulatory returns and process improvement initiatives.

Working closely with academic and professional service teams, I provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure services are efficient, compliant, customer-focused and support the University's wider objectives. I am passionate about developing high-performing teams, improving systems and processes, and delivering excellent service while maintaining strong financial governance and controls.
