3D Print Workshop
Create prototypes, final models, artworks, moulds, textiles and more – the possibilities are limitless.
The 3D Print workshop allows you to experiment with 3D scanners and CAD modelling software without having to invest heavily in the hardware and machines. The workshop is free to use – for any project – once you've been inducted.
Our dedicated on-site technician is available for inductions, software training and other support. The 3D printers can also be used remotely, meaning you can send a digital file to the on-site printers and collect it at a later date from a collection point.
The workshop stocks a wide range of colours of print materials, and we can also source alternative materials such as wood, rubber and ceramics.
You can also take advantage of our 3D digital processes workshop which includes rapid prototyping and digital transfer printing.
Discover something new
Almost all of our workshops are open for all students to use, after appropriate tuition and health and safety introductions. It doesn't matter what course you're studying – we encourage you to break boundaries and explore new disciplines.
