Personal statement

The art shop at Locksbrook stocks a huge range of materials for all art and design courses, and for the wider community. The staff have a good knowledge of all the making and designing processes and work closely with academics and technicians to find the best specialist materials. The shop also sells student art work and staff can advise students on pricing and preparing work to sell. Clare works part time in the shop, and is also an artist, working with clay and other materials. In her freelance capacity she works in settings such as the Holburne Museum facilitating workshops alongside people with clay for wellbeing.
