Personal statement

Clara Giaminardi is a Lecturer and Programme Leader for the BA Fashion Photography course.

They have worked as a fashion photographer for over a decade, specialising in jewellery, beauty, and celebrity portraiture. Their work has been featured in editorials, campaigns, and special brand projects for Vogue Italia, Swarovski, Vanity Fair Italy, and other leading fashion brands and publications.

Their current research practice focuses on themes of historical displacement and identity creation, explored through autoethnographic, practice-led work that engages with personal family histories.
